post-game thoughts

No one stole the game from the Dolphins - the Dolphins lost the game for themselves by not capitalizing on those early turnovers.

Still, that was one of the craziest calls I have ever seen.  It was clearly a fumble after review, but many players said they gave up fighting for the ball because the refs said it was a TD.  As far as I know, that’s enough reason to give up the ball.

Why does everyone have to bring up the fact that the ref is from Washington, PA?

Ben broke the plane in SB 40.  Sorry.

Hines Ward is a m-fing beast.  Every time you count that man out he comes back to show you that nope, he’s nowhere NEAR done.

Ben may be a jerk who needs to figure his personal life out, but when it comes down to it, I’d rather he be on the field as my QB than anyone else in the NFL.  I think it’s past time to start counting him as one of the top three QBs.

Mike Wallace makes me go “Santonio who?”  I was against the Santonio trade, mostly because I felt like we got virtually nothing in return for him, but Wallace is really proving himself to me.

Aaron Smith’s injury scares me.  I know that this group has shown they can piece together lines and throw in the entire team to play and play well, but Aaron is the core of that defense.  Here’s hoping he’ll be okay.

Woodley being injured scares me too.  Woodley is only just being noticed (IMO) for his amazing achievements and contributions to this team.

Anyone else notice a distinct lack of Polamalu this year?

Anytime we play the Dolphins I immediately think of Ace Ventura.

Aaand…that’s all folks!

Bring on the Saints.

Rashard Mendenhall has moves!

two quotes

“The league does not want us to be 4-0 with a mad Ben coming back, I’ll tell you that.” - Hines Ward

“I heard the roar and everybody started running the other way so I just hit somebody in a white jersey.” - James Harrison, on Keisel’s pick-six.

Steelers > you.
